Many of us struggle with people pleasing tendencies or have struggled with it. It can be very paralysing when we know we have to change but for some or the other reasons we can’t. I have been there, done that.

So, in this post i will give you 15 powerful affirmations that helped me to get rid of my people pleasing tendencies. By incorporating these affirmations into your daily routine, you can reclaim your authenticity and prioritize your own well-being. Choose three or more affirmations that deeply resonate with you and repeat them 5-6 times each morning and before bedtime. Additionally, use these affirmations as a tool whenever you feel discomfort after setting boundaries or saying no, or when facing someone's disappointment due to your assertiveness.

These affirmations serve as a guiding light, empowering you to break free from the cycle of people-pleasing and embrace a life where your needs and boundaries are respected. Through consistent practice, you will strengthen your resolve to honor yourself and live authentically.

Here are powerful affirmations that can help you overcome people-pleasing tendencies:

  1. I honor and prioritize my needs and boundaries without guilt or apology.
  2. My worth is defined by my own approval; I am valuable just as I am.

  14. I am becoming stronger in my ability to prioritize myself and honor my feelings and desires.

Repeating these affirmations regularly, especially during challenging situations, can help reinforce the mindset necessary to overcome the habit of people-pleasing and empower individuals to prioritize their own needs and well-being.
